Stargazer Gourmet began as a deeply personal project—long before it became a business or a brand. After being diagnosed with celiac and navigating a coconut allergy, I found myself constantly searching for meals I could trust during road trips, camping weekends, and backpacking adventures. The choices were limited, and most of what was available either wasn’t safe or wasn’t satisfying.

So I went back to what I knew: cooking real food from scratch.

I started dehydrating my own meals so I could take something comforting and familiar with me anywhere. That small act of taking care of myself turned into something much bigger. Friends asked for meals. Then friends of friends. And as I cooked, roasted, smoked, simmered, and taste-tested, I realized how many people were craving food that was both safe and genuinely delicious.

Transitioning to freeze-drying let me preserve those slow-built flavors without compromise. Every dish still starts in my kitchen with whole ingredients—housemade smoked brisket, rich brisket butter, handmade Italian sausage, roasted vegetables, homemade broths. Nothing is rushed. Nothing is artificial. Nothing is mass-produced.

Stargazer Gourmet exists because people deserve food that brings comfort, nourishment, and joy—no matter where they are. Whether you’re on a mountaintop, on the road, or simply navigating a chaotic week, I hope these meals give you the same sense of warmth and ease they’ve given me.
